F4L is an agriculture project reaching out to small scale farmers in order to make their lives sustainable and independent.
Farming4Life wants to be a part of changing Uganda and will arrange workshops for more than 1,000 families within the next two years. In addition, Knowledge and Communications Center will be established to initiate the exchange of knowledge from e.g. Agroskolen Hammerum. More than 10,000 people will be impacted.
We empower people with knowledge so that they can become self-reliant.
About 10 million people are starving in Uganda. Most of them are unemployed. The only things they usually own is a piece of land. Land they do not know how to cultivate well. Imagine the impact knowledge could have on those lonely families.
What a paradox. Uganda is one of the most fertile countries on Earth, yet people are starving and dying because they have nothing to eat. The lack of fundamental knowledge of agricultural practices cause many difficulties.
We fervently believe that what students in impoverished regions need are not more academic skills, but rather life skills that enable them to improve their financial prospects and well-being. These include financial literacy and entrepreneurial skills; health maintenance and management skills; and administrative capabilities, such as teamwork, problem solving, and project management.
Donating 150DKK will help a family to become self-sufficient through training at Farming 4 Life.
150 DKK a month for a year helps 12 families to help themselves!
